January, not March, now snowiest month in Minnesota

Mark Seeley, climate science professor emeritus from the University of Minnesota, is in Florida this week, but he still made time to talk to MPR's Cathy Wurzer about this week in weather history.

Turns out, January is now the snowiest month. March held that title for generations.

Also, they discuss the origin and truth to the saying "three snows on a robin's tail and then spring comes."
