Sigrid Rausing explores the collateral damage from drug addiction in her new memoir, "Mayhem." Her brother and his wife met in rehab in their twenties and went on to have a life that appeared enviable: children, wealth, a large social circle and a close extended family.

So Rausing and the family were shocked when the couple, after being sober for many years, started using opiates again. Her sister-in-law, Eva, died from the habit.

Rausing sat down with MPR's Kerri Miller to discuss her experience.
