Mike Pence is visiting Asia next month, and relations with North Korea are strained.
The U.S. and South Korea are conducting military exercises that North Korea feels are preparations for an invasion. In response, they fired ballistic missiles which is in violation of sanctions placed against them by the United Nations.
China has a front row seat to this military back and forth and warns it may devolve into a "head-on collision between the U.S. and North Korea."
Two foreign policy experts joined the program to discuss U.S., Korean relations. Shelia Smith, is a senior fellow at the Counsel on Foreign Relations, and Philip Yun, is the the executive director of Ploughshares Fund.
