Adele begins a highly anticipated tour of the United States with two sold-out shows Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

She has come a long way since her first trip to the Twin Cities in 2008 when she performed at the 600-seat Theatre de la Jeune Lune in Minneapolis.

After that show, she spoke with The Current's Mark Wheat.
