Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman is taking another step toward wrapping up the investigation into the November shooting of Jamar Clark.
Freeman said the investigators working on the case are making a final call for anyone with any evidence in the shooting to contact authorities. Clark, 24, was fatally shot by Minneapolis police in a confrontation last fall.
Accounts of the shooting have reflected disputes over the circumstances: At least one witness said Clark was handcuffed at the time. The head of the city's police union has said Clark was not in handcuffs and was struggling over an officer's gun when he was killed.
Freeman's office is asking anyone who was a witness and has not talked to investigators, or has any additional video or other evidence regarding Clark's death, to contact the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
