The fallen officer is still remembered by makeshift memorials at the site of his slaying. Dodd Road has been renamed in his honor in West St. Paul and Mendota Heights.
A noon hour gathering near the site of the murder in West St. Paul marks the road's official dedication today. A moment of silence will mark the time of his death. A vigil is scheduled for 8 p.m. in Mendota Heights.
