Four deputies laid on the ice in a human chain to rescue a man after his truck went through the ice on Lake Minnetonka Wednesday night.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said that it got a report about 8:20 p.m. of a truck breaking through the ice near the Arcola Bridge.
Lt. Kent Vnuk of the department's Water Patrol unit says the man was heading to his fish house, which wasn't a posted thin-ice area.
The man escaped from the truck and got onto some nearby ice where neighbors heard him calling for help and called 911.
