Drivers may see delays on Interstate 94 in St. Paul during the day this week.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close lanes and shoulders in both directions on the interstate between Highway 280 and Dale Street starting Wednesday.
Crews are inspecting the bridges over the interstate, one of the busiest stretches of freeway in the Twin Cities.
MnDOT says the inspections are in preparation for bridge work in the 2016 construction season. The inspections and closures will run from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. They will end on Friday.
