Today is the 50th anniversary of the day in 1964 when Bob Dylan met the Beatles for the first time and gave them their first taste of marijuana. Paul McCartney was quite taken with the thoughts the drug inspired and asked the band's road manager Mal Evans to follow him around with a notepad and take down all his profound insights.
