People who want to learn more about synthetic drugs can now turn to a new state website. The site describes common symptoms of synthetic drug use.
It also hosts photos of the drugs and their packaging. Synthetics have been blamed for several deaths in Minnesota in recent years. State and city officials have struggled to control their use.
The launch of the website at KnowTheDangers.com comes on the heels of a new law that gives the state more power to stop sales of synthetic drugs.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Human Services Commissioner Lucinda Jesson, who announced the site's launch yesterday in Duluth.
