Gov. Mark Dayton is pushing state agencies to hire more people with disabilities. In an executive order issued Monday, Dayton said the portion of state employees who are disabled has shrunk significantly over the past 15 years.

In fact, Minnesota has fallen behind neighboring states in hiring disabled workers.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Gov. Dayton about what the state can do to recruit and hire more disabled people.
