No clear winner on first U.S. Senate ballot

It's going to be a long night.

After the first ballot, all the candidates for U.S. Senate are still contenders for the Republican party's endorsement. That means all six candidates got more than 5 percent of the vote.

St. Louis County Commissioner Chris Dahlberg came in first with 25 percent of the vote.

Here's how the rest of the results break down:

  • Mike McFadden, 23 percent

  • Julianne Ortman, 22 percent

  • Phillip Parrish, 16 percent

  • Jim Abeler, 6.7 percent

  • Monti Moreno, 5.6 percent

Delegates are now voting on the second ballot.
