Today's Morning Edition music is from "High Ball Stepper" which is an instrumental track from Jack White's forthcoming "Lazaretto" album. White announced this week that the vinyl version of the release will be what he is calling an "ultra LP." That means it will have a bunch of special features. There's a hidden track that plays at 78 rpm and another one that plays at 45 rpm. Depending on exactly where you drop the needle, you will hear an electric or acoustic intro to one song. And Side A plays from the inside out. It also contains a hand-etched hologram by Tristan Duke of Infinity Light Science, the first of its kind on a vinyl record.
