The Minnesota DFL party says it has raised roughly $1.2 million since the start of the year.
That's on top of the more than $2.1 million the party raised last year, bringing its total to $3.3 million.
At the same time, the party is reporting about $13,500 in debt.
Those figures aren't a complete picture of the party's finances because they don't account for how much the party has spent this year or who has given to the party. The DFL's detailed finance report isn't due to the state's campaign finance board until next week.
Officials at the Minnesota Republican Party didn't immediately respond to questions about their fundraising.
UPDATE: State Republican Party Chair Keith Downey says the Minnesota GOP raised about $706,000 in the quarter, but that's a preliminary number because staffers are still working on the report.
