Today's music is from 40 years ago this week when "Seasons in the Sun" by Canadian singer Terry Jacks was the number one song on the U.S. pop charts. It is a translation of the French song "Le Moribond" by the popular Belgian-born singer Jacques Brel. The original French version about the laments of a dying man included verses about his unfaithful wife. The Terry Jacks version left that part out.
