If state officials and Vikings' owners have their way, Vikings games won't be the only events to occupy the new downtown Minneapolis stadium now under construction.

The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority has bid to host basketball's NCAA Final Four. The stadium also is expected to accommodate the Minnesota Gophers baseball team. New images released by the Vikings and the MSFA show how the stadium might look during those events, as well as games for the Major League Soccer franchise the Vikings have been angling for.
