A concert and party at the Landmark Center in St. Paul will celebrate the release of a new CD by the Rose Ensemble.
It's a collection of drinking songs — more precisely political drinking songs. They champion both sides of the debate over whether alcohol should be illegal. The CD is called "A Toast to Prohibition" and includes anti-drinking songs like this one from 1853 called "King Alcohol."
