Ten years ago today, "Hey Ya" by Outkast was the number one song on the U.S. pop charts.
After a long hiatus, OutKast is performing live again. They will be headlining at the Coachella Music Festival in April.
The lyric "shake it like a Polaroid picture" brought some much-needed publicity to the Polaroid corporation which had been struggling in the digital age. But that was not enough to save the company from bankrupcy and an end to its production of instant film and cameras. The Polaroid name is now attached to a new line of social media friendly digital cameras.
