Yesterday, the University of Minnesota Men's basketball team defeated Purdue 82-79 at Williams Arena. It was the first Big Ten victory for head coach Richard Pitino. The Gophers are now 12-3 this season. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for the Star Tribune, about how the team has changed and what to expect for the rest of the Big Ten season.
