"The Great Gatsby" starring Leonardo DiCaprio was one of the most popular films of the year, an indication that the words of F. Scott Fitzgerald continue to resonate with audiences more than 70 years after his death.
A new book published by the University of Minnesota Press reveals some of Fitzgerald's earliest writing.
"The Thoughtbook of F. Scott Fitzgerald" is a memoir that Fitzgerald wrote when he was 14 and living in St. Paul. This is the first time that it has been published in its entirety.
Fitzgerald scholar Dave Page wrote the introduction and afterword.
