Admission to the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth will be free today to mark the one-year anniversary of a flood that inundated the zoo grounds.
A massive rain storm caused the flood which destroyed exhibits, killed 14 animals, and set others free.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Peter Pruett, who's the Director of Zoo Operations. A year ago, he was the Director of Animal Management.
