Budget votes to be front-and-center at the state capitol

The Minnesota House and Senate are ready to start voting on budget bills this week. Financing measures for state government operations and economic development programs are up today, and DFL leaders say all of the spending bills will be ready to go by the end of the week.

Democrats in the House are also getting ready to roll out their tax proposal this week.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Minnesota Public Radio news reporter Tim Pugmire about the week ahead at the capitol.
