A new chairman is taking the reins of Minnesota's troubled Republican party. Former State Rep. Keith Downey was elected by the state central committee on Saturday.
But he'll have his hands full. The party has been roiled by election losses and financial troubles in recent years.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Downey about his strategy for getting the party back on the rails and moving forward.
