Rep. Joe Atkins, (DFL-Inver Grove Heights) said he thinks the time has come to start considering Plan B for financing the Vikings stadium other than electronic pulltabs.

"I think you are about to hear, from more than just me, we need to at least start considering other options in addition to e-tabs," he said in an email today.

Of course, there already has been some movement: GOP Rep. Tom Hackbarth says he thinks racino will fix the problem.

Atkins is not offering any specifics -- or whether it's a long term or one-year solution to the revenue shortfall. State officials said this morning that the state isn't  ready to give up Plan A yet, but acknowledge that the roll out is falling far behind schedule.
