Turns out there was more to the exchange between the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority than initially met the eye. There were references to "attachments" in the MSFA's letter to the U.
And here they are, overlaid with some proposed amateur baseball accomodations.
With just weeks to go before schematic drawings of the new stadium are due for the MSFA, the similarities of these drawings seem to indicate that they've made some progress already. It's hard to tell how this would look from outside, or what the seats would look like. But they seem to have a basic shape in mind.
