The Minnesota Lynx will need to win a road game if they are going to repeat as WNBA champions.

The Lynx gave up the home court advantage when they lost to Indiana 76 to 70 last night at Target Center.

It was the first game of a best of five series that will determine the league champion.

The Vikings also had a rough weekend. The Redskins' Robert Griffin III ran for 138 yards and two touchdowns, including a 76-yard run with less than three minutes remaining in the game to beat the Vikes 38-26 and snap their three-game winning streak. Washington snapped an eight-game home losing streak against the Vikings.

Howard Sinker, Digital Sports Editor for the Star Tribune, discussed the Lynx and other sports news with Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer.
