Lawmakers say the breakdown of talks between the NFL and its players could affect plans for a new stadium in Minnesota.
But Deputy Senate Majority Leader Geoff Michel, R-Edina, said today there wasn't much progress on the stadium to slow down at this point.
"I think there will be members who have questions about what is going on short term with the NFL. But we have had zero caucus discussion on the NFL, on a lockout, on the Vikings, on the Metrodome," he said.
Rep. Morrie Lanning, R-Moorhead, said last week that a proposal for a stadium might be coming soon. But he said today that he won't put any timeline on a Vikings bill.
The Vikings are looking for a new home to replace the Metrodome. They're in their last season at the dome, and are reported to be looking at locations in Arden Hills and Minneapolis -- including the existing stadium site.
