Republicans in the Minnesota House and Senate are ready to start filling in the blanks on their plan for erasing a projected $5 billion budget deficit. GOP leaders will unveil budget target numbers later this week. Those numbers will be the first glimpse of how Republicans plan to balance the books through spending cuts and no new taxes.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Minnesota Public Radio News reporter Tim Pugmire about what to expect this week at the Capitol.
