The new head of the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation comes from Minnesota state government.
Kevin McKinnon is currently Director of Business Development at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. He starts his new job Oct. 25.
Ron Robson, a U.S. Bank Regional President and Chair of the economic development authority believes McKinnon will be a good fit for Fargo Moorhead.
"Kevin brings a level of knowledge and expertise that is needed for the GFMEDC to lead our region to the next level of business activity," Robson said.
Fargo Moorhead has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.
The previous GFMEDC president left for a similar job in sunny Florida.
