The Hennepin County will begin making electronic books available to readers. When the program starts, there will be seven hundred titles that readers can download to their personal computers or E-readers. The catch -- the files won't work on the iPad or Kindle, the two most popular E-readers on the market. Vicky Helgeson is a senior librarian for the Hennepin County Library. She says readers can check out the books without even setting foot in the library. She joined Cathy Wurzer by phone.
