Minnesota health officials are trying to figure out what to do next after seeing a sharp increase in the number of new HIV and AIDS infections last year.
By far the biggest increase in new infections was among young gay and bisexual men in the Twin Cities metro area. Experts say that's a very difficult group to reach with safe-sex messages.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Dr. Gary Remafedi, who directs the Youth and AIDS Project at the University of Minnesota.
