Minnesota blogger gets asteroid named after him

It is fairly easy to find Paul Myers online. He writes the world's most popular science blog: Pharyngula.

But, now you can also find Paul Myers in the night's sky with a telescope.

The science teacher recently had an asteroid named after him for his blog postings, which provide evidence in support of the theory of evolution.

To talk more about the asteroid formerly known as minor planet 153298, we've called Paul Myers.

Myers is an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of Minnesota-Morris and blogs at scienceblogs.com/pharyngula.
