U.S. women beat Brazil to win first Olympic volleyball gold
The U.S. women’s volleyball team, including Edina’s Jordan Thompson, claimed its first Olympic gold medal Sunday with a victory over Brazil. The U.S. had previously won three silver medals and two bronze since first getting on the medal stand in 1984.
