Minneapolis city officials met Thursday with members of a Chicago-based organization called CeaseFire. They want to know if the CeaseFire model, which some say has helped reduce gun violence in Chicago, can work in Minneapolis.
Bradley Johnson, chief of the Minneapolis Park Police, has been fired, according to his attorney. The grounds for his dismissal have not been made public.
