The National Rural Assembly, a gathering of small-town officials, non-profit leaders, community activists and experts from a variety of walks of life, is gathering in June for the first time outside of Washington, D.C. This year’s assembly is being held in St. Paul, MN, of June 28-30.
The league of Minnesota Cities held four community conversations in St. James, Minn., the first of 10 cities where residents are being encouraged to examine what services they want from their cities and how they should be delivered and paid for.
