A lengthy labor dispute between Duluth nurses and two local hospitals appears to be all but over, as nurses reached a tentative contract agreement with one of those hospitals Wednesday afternoon -- a week after the other hospital settled.
Students in Wadena, Minn., were back in school today for the first time since a tornado destroyed the town's high school back in June.
They're now splitting their time between an elementary school and classroom space offered by the local community and technical college.
A final round of contract negotiations takes place Tuesday for more than 400 registered nurses who work at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. The talks will focus on a proposed code of conduct opposed by the nurses' union.
