The Trump administration has proposed new executive orders and policies that are changing the lives of millions of immigrants.

Dozens of international students have had their visas cancelled, birthright citizenship is being challenged and non-citizens — including those with authorization to work in the U.S. — have been removed quickly from the country without a court hearing.

MPR News host Angela Davis talks with Gloria Contreras Edin, an immigration attorney who has been has been following changes in immigration policy for years. They talk about Gloria’s journey, what inspired her to pursue law and what she’s seeing on the ground as policies change.
