  • Sharrilyn Helgertz is a former senior research scientist for the Minnesota Department of Health. Helgertz specializes in collecting and analyzing data around tobacco use among youth and adults in Minnesota.  

  • Mike Sheldon is the commercial tobacco cessation communications coordinator for the Minnesota Department of Health. He is also a spokesman from Quit Partner, a free program that offers coaching, medications, texts, emails and other tools to help people quit smoking.

  • Dr. Jad Sfeir is an endocrinologist and gerontologist and an assistant professor at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester. He specializes in osteoporosis and age-related decline in bone strength.

  • Dr. Suzanne Hecht is an associate professor with the sports medicine program at the University of Minnesota Medical School and a physician with M Health Fairview. She’s also a team physician for University of Minnesota Athletics and U.S. Figure Skating and is a member of the USA Gymnastics National Healthcare Referral Network.
