We’ve seen and heard the fallout from a contentious presidential candidate debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump Thursday night and we’ve learned about a slew of U.S. Supreme Court decisions in the last week. On Monday, we expect the court to rule on whether Trump has immunity from prosecution for trying to undo his 2020 election loss.
Coming up at 9 a.m. on Monday, MPR News host Angela Davis talks with legal and political analysts about the importance of the recent and upcoming decisions, and their thoughts about this November’s presidential election.
And we want to hear from you, too. What questions do you have about how the court’s recent decisions will affect Minnesotans? And did last week’s presidential debate affect how you plan to vote in November?
Call 651-227-6000 or 800-242-2828 to join the conversation during the 9 a.m. hour.
Guests:
Patrick Schmidt, professor of political science and co-director of legal studies at Macalester College
Larry Jacobs, professor and director of The Center for the Study of Politics and Governance at the University of Minnesota
