April 22nd is Earth Day, a day dedicated to spreading awareness about the issue of climate change and the importance of taking care of the planet. As many people look for ways to help maintain the planet for generations to come, a new book encourages kids to get involved too. “A Kid’s Guide to Saving the Planet” was written by long time Twin Cities meteorologist, broadcaster and entrepreneur Paul Douglas. He talks with Cathy Wurzer about writing a book to help young people understand and get active around climate change.
