Mark Hanneman is the Minneapolis police officer who shot and killed Amir Locke the morning of February second.  Body camera footage shows Locke was asleep under a blanket on the couch in an apartment when 9 officers came with a no-knock search warrant. They used a key to unlock the door and entered the apartment shouting and shining bright lights. Locke had a gun in his hand pointed toward the floor. His family said it was for protection because he was a delivery driver afraid of being carjacked.  Officer Hanneman saw the gun and shot Locke who was still under the blanket. Locke was not the person police were looking for.

This morning Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced their decision to not file charges against officer Hanneman. MPR reporter Jon Collins joins Cathy Wurzer about the details.
