Dessa introduces a second season of her podcast 'Deeply Human'

Rapper and singer Dessa has launched season two of her podcast, "Deeply Human." It's a collaboration with BBC World Service, American Public Media and iHeartMedia.

Dessa talked with host Cathy Wurzer ahead of a trip to Denver, where she’s set to perform on Wednesday.

Dessa says she’s been a “science nerd” since she was little. “When I found out that APM was partnering with the BBC on a science podcast that centered human behavior and I learned that they were looking for a host, all of my hands shot all the way up,” she said.
