Wally Langfellow and Eric Nelson, the duo behind Minnesota Score Radio's “10,000 Takes,” stopped in to Minnesota Now to preview a Thanksgiving weekend stuffed with sports action.

First up: A look at the history of the Gophers vs. Badgers football rivalry, the most storied in college football. Langfellow and Nelson said the Gophers haven’t won much in recent memory, but hope springs eternal, and they’re still in the hunt for the Big Ten championship this year.

Then: The Minnesota Timberwolves are fighting for a .500 record, which is actually better than many Wolves squads over the past two decades could ever say. Could they be making progress toward the postseason this year?

Plus: The Wild are off to a fantastic start, currently sitting in first place in the NHL’s Central Division.

And: The best in high school football is heading to Minneapolis. The Prep Bowl takes place Friday and Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium.
