Since 2017, MPR News, YourClassical and The Current, along with local partners ThreeSixty Journalism at the University of St. Thomas, have been shepherding budding journalists through the process of audio storytelling during Radio Camp.

This year, MPR added three new partners: MIGIZI, a nonprofit serving Native youth; KRSM, a low-power station in Minneapolis; and The American Indian Family Center.

At 11 a.m. Monday, host Angela Davis spoke with four radio campers about their personal stories and the audio stories they completed this summer.

And, senior economics contributor Chris Farrell explains recent job numbers. Is everyone quitting and starting something new?

We also want to hear from you. Have you quit your job? What are you planning on doing next? Are you thinking of quitting your job? Why? Call us at 651-227-6000 during the 11 a.m. hour or tweet @AngelaDavisMPR.

Guests:

  • Zaraia Fabunmi and Ava Hartwell of Minneapolis and twins Casey Hiller and Zane Hiller of Bemidji participated in Radio Camp this summer.

  • Chris Farrell is senior economics contributor for MPR News.
