Polar explorer Will Steger crossed Antarctica three decades ago. Today, his route no longer exists. Much of it has broken off or melted into the ocean.
A new film called “After Antarctica” uses archival footage from that trip and fresh interviews to explore how Steger’s observations and life’s work have influenced the conversation about climate change. It debuted at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival.
Steger joined Climate Cast last week to discuss the film.
