People are struggling.

The stress of the nearly yearlong COVID-19 pandemic is pushing people to seek mental health treatment in record numbers. And the professionals providing that treatment are increasingly stressed themselves.

Two therapists joined MPR News host Angela Davis to talk about how their colleagues are handling burnout, stress and the weight of helping others.

Guests:

  • Lori Gottlieb is a psychotherapist and author of the New York Times bestseller “Maybe You Should Talk to Someone.”

  • George Dubie is a licensed psychologist and CEO of Greater Minnesota Family Services.
