Book on Minnesota's landscape gets update after 25 years of climate change
In 1995, John R. Tester and Mary Keirstead wrote what some call the definitive book on Minnesota’s ecological history. But after 25 years of rapid climate change, “Minnesota’s Natural Heritage” needed an update.
The second edition is out this month and will be celebrated in a virtual book launch 7 p.m. Thursday.
Co-author John Moriarty spoke with MPR News chief meteorologist and Climate Cast host Paul Huttner about the changes outlined in the book.
