How are Minnesota’s growers and grocers keeping food safe and in supply

For weeks, we've seen empty shelves at grocery stores.

Lots of our staple food items, like beans and rice, milk and bread, are limited. And it’s adding to the anxiety about food scarcity.

But grocers and growers are telling Minnesotans that America is not running out of food. Instead, the demand is so high and unprecedented that it’s hard to keep up.

MPR News host Angela Davis checked in with those keeping our food safe and in good supply.
