What’s Minnesota’s favorite quirky sport? It’s got to be curling.
The Olympic sport involves a granite stone, ice with a pebbled surface, brooms to polish the ice and a bullseye. This weekend, the college curling national championships are being held at the Fargo-Moorhead Curling Club. Two curlers explained the sport’s growing popularity and shared facts on how curling got started.
