Minnesota health officials warn against vaping

The White House announced Wednesday that it plans to ban the sale of flavored electronic cigarettes.

A Kansas woman died of injuries allegedly caused by vaping on Tuesday — making her the sixth reported death in the country linked to the new smoking trend.

In Minnesota, one person has died and 22 people have confirmed or probable vaping-connected lung injuries.

The Minnesota Department of Health continues to look into these cases.

Daniel Huff, who oversees the state’s investigation into lung injuries connected to vaping, joined host Angela Davis to discuss what the state is uncovering and the continued risks associated with vaping.
